The exact site has not been published yet. I would watch this one closely, but I would wait for the location and transport plan before buying a hotel I cannot change.
That move is the story. The organiser’s announcement describes a previously unused industrial location and the first fully outdoor festival setting in its history. Previous photos and videos show what Terminal V can build; they cannot tell you where the Glasgow gates will be, how late the 2027 music will run or how to get home.
Is this the right techno weekend?
If your ideal festival is a two-day city trip with large stages, visuals and a hard dancefloor, Terminal V is an obvious contender. If you want long-form sets in a small field and somewhere to camp, Gottwood is a different proposition. If you want techno alongside UKG, jungle and D&B, GemFest is the mixed-bill alternative. The current Terminal V artist page says 2027 coming soon above a 2026 list. Names from that list belong to last year. I would buy early only if the festival’s sound and production are enough for me without any one act; otherwise I would wait for the new bill and stage splits.
How I would plan Glasgow
Tickets: use the official festival page for registration and its current ticket route. The organiser says its first super-early-bird allocation sold out. That does not tell you what later tiers cost or whether they are currently available; check the live checkout.
Accommodation: a flexible Glasgow room is the sensible default while the site address remains unpublished. Central Glasgow is a practical base for food and a wider city weekend, but it is too early to claim a particular station or neighbourhood is closest to the gates. Check the organiser’s site map and shuttle or public-transport guidance when they arrive, then decide whether to move your booking.
Travel home: an outdoor industrial site may have a different exit pattern from the former Edinburgh venue. Do not use an old Terminal V essentials guide to plan the 2027 journey. Give yourself room after the event if you are catching a train or flight, and confirm the last-service options once the official travel page is live.
Weather and access: this edition is advertised as fully outdoors. Pack for a Scottish June rather than assuming an indoor arena; look for the 2027 accessibility and bag policies before committing if they affect your group.
