Shopping with All Oils
Choosing the right engine oil
Start with the viscosity grade your vehicle requires, such as 0W-20, 5W-30 or 15W-50, as listed in your handbook. The store separates fully synthetic oils from other types, so check the description before you buy. Motorcycle oils, including 4T engine oils and 2-stroke fluids, are listed separately from car oils, which matters because motorcycle gearboxes and wet clutches have different needs from a car engine.
Transmission, gear and fork fluids
The range includes dual clutch transmission fluid, gear oils such as 75W-80 and heavy duty 80W-90 grades, and fork oils for motorcycle suspension. These are not interchangeable with engine oil, so match the product name to your gearbox or fork type rather than the bottle size alone.
Coolants, brake fluids and cleaners
Coolant additives, antifreeze concentrates and radiator flushes sit alongside brake fluids such as DOT 5.1, plus brake, glass and chain cleaners. Read the label to confirm compatibility with your system before topping up.
Bulk and workshop quantities
Many products come in 1 litre, 5 litre and 20 litre sizes, and Linelube offers industrial items such as hydraulic oil and chainsaw oil. Bulk sizes usually work out cheaper per litre, but only buy them if you will use the product before it ages.
