Is Anything worth paying for?
Anything is worth paying for if you want a working app with a database, logins and payments rather than a static website, and you can live with credit-based pricing. It is less suited to anyone on a tight, fixed budget.
The agent writes React and Next.js code for web apps and Expo (React Native) code for mobile apps, then hosts the result. Every project gets a PostgreSQL database, user accounts, backend functions and file uploads, and the Pro plan adds custom domains, App Store and Google Play submission, and Stripe or RevenueCat payments. Reviewers on Trustpilot and Product Hunt praise how quickly an idea becomes something usable, but the most common complaints are credits running out mid-build, bugs that the agent struggles to fix in larger apps, and slow replies from support.
How much does Anything cost in the UK?
Anything charges in US dollars only: Pro is $24 a month, or $228 paid once a year ($19 a month), and Max plans run from $239 a month ($199 billed yearly) up to $1,079 a month. The pricing page does not say whether VAT is added for UK buyers.
- Pro 20k: 20,000 credits a month, private projects, custom domains and no Anything branding
- Max 200k: 220,000 credits a month plus the Max agent, parallel agents and automated testing
- Larger Max tiers: up to 990,000 credits a month for $899 a month billed yearly
- Teams and Enterprise: custom pricing through a contact form
Credits are spent on every message and whenever a published app runs a paid AI integration. Monthly credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, while top-off credits ($12 for 10,000 up to $240 for 200,000) never expire.
What happened to Create.xyz and the Anything iPhone app?
Create.xyz rebranded as Anything in 2025, moved to createanything.com and then to anything.com, so older reviews and Trustpilot pages may still use the Create name. The product and accounts carried over.
Anything also had its own iPhone app for building on the go. Apple removed it in March 2026 under App Store guideline 2.5.2, which bars apps from running code that changes their features. Press reports said it returned briefly in April, but the listing could not be found on 11 October 2026. Apps you build with Anything can still be submitted to the App Store through TestFlight from the web builder, and the docs also describe building by text message on Pro plans and above.
Anything vs Lovable, Replit and Bolt: which is better?
Anything stands out for mobile apps, since it takes an Expo app through phone preview, TestFlight and App Store submission in one flow. Lovable and Bolt focus mainly on web apps, and Replit suits people who want to see and edit the code as they go.
All four charge for AI usage in some form, so the real cost depends on how much you build. For a marketing site or portfolio rather than an app, a visual website builder such as Framer or Durable is simpler and cheaper. Anything lets you download the full code at any time, which makes moving to another host or developer possible later.
How do you get Anything cheaper?
Annual billing is the main saving: two months free, so Pro works out at $19 a month instead of $24. The payment is taken upfront and annual payments are not refunded.
Anything states it has no student discount. It does give free credits for posting about your app on X (up to $10 in credits a day) and $0.50 in credits to both you and a friend through its referral link. The docs suggest using Plan mode before Thinking mode, and trying GPT or Gemini models in the model switcher, to use fewer credits per change. Paid users can also request an instant credit refund on any generation that did not work.
