Appliance City: what to know before you buy
The story
Appliance City began in 1986 as Appliance Warehouse, a father and son team selling kitchen appliances on Saturday mornings. It opened a showroom in 2001 and moved online under its current name in 2003. The head office still sits next to the showroom in Bunny, Nottingham, and the company describes itself as one of the UK's largest independent appliance retailers.
The range
It leans towards kitchen and laundry: ovens, range cookers, hobs and extraction, dishwashers, washing machines and tumble dryers, and fridges and freezers. Small appliances such as coffee machines and vacuum cleaners sit alongside them, and a TV and soundbar range joined in later years.
The showroom
The showroom is a short drive from Nottingham city centre. The team encourages you to bring your own dishes or baking trays to check they fit a dishwasher or range cooker. Sales staff deal with you by phone, email or in person, and the company says you'll usually speak to the same person throughout.
Multibuy
Buying several appliances? Add them to the Multibuy list on the site and submit it for a package quote. The team sets the price, and the company says directors are on hand to approve deals. A small deposit can hold the price while it stores your order for a while at no cost.
Delivery
Its own vans deliver six days a week. Standard delivery brings the appliance into a ground-floor room of your choice, and extras such as upstairs delivery, installation and removing your old appliance are booked separately. Some areas are served by an outside carrier, so check your postcode at checkout. Delivery dates are not guaranteed.
Returns
You have the legal right to cancel within 14 days, but made-to-order or personalised items can't be returned. Collection of a large appliance is charged at the cost of the carrier and deducted from your refund, so read the returns page before you order. If something is faulty, report it quickly and follow the manufacturer's warranty route.
Questions about Appliance City
Are there any Appliance City discount codes?
We don't currently list a confirmed discount code. That doesn't mean the store has no promotions; check its website for current prices.
Where can I check Appliance City's refund policy?
Read the retailer's current policy before buying. Eligibility can depend on the product, its condition and whether it has been used or activated. Refund and returns policy
Does Appliance City have a showroom?
Yes, in Bunny near Nottingham, next to its head office. You can bring your own dishes or baking trays to check they fit.
What is Appliance City Multibuy?
A service where you add several appliances to a list and send it in for a package price quote from the team.
Does Appliance City deliver upstairs?
Usually, if you book the alternate floor delivery service. Tell them about stairs and access problems in advance.
Can I fit the appliance myself?
Yes. You can book delivery only for built-in appliances and arrange fitting yourself. Gas appliances need a qualified Gas Safe engineer.
Can I return a large appliance to Appliance City?
Within the legal cancellation period, yes, but collection is charged at carrier cost and taken from your refund. Personalised or made-to-order items can't be returned.
Who handles my order?
You complete your purchase with the retailer. For order changes, delivery questions or a refund, contact the seller shown on your order confirmation. Vouchernaut publishes shopping guides and offers; we don't process your purchase.

Polar Recovery
Polar Recovery sells ice baths and saunas aimed at people who want hot and cold therapy at home. The range includes plunge tubs, outdoor saunas and infrared units, so the right pick depends on space, budget and how you plan to use it.
Rocket Espresso
Rocket Espresso UK is the official UK distributor and online store for Rocket machines, selling the Appartamento, Mozzafiato, Giotto and R58 Tune lines alongside grinders and bundles. SafeFort sells home, office, fireproof, gun and key safes to UK homeowners and businesses. The range runs from compact home safes to commercial deposit and till safes, with battery-charging and key storage options too. SharkNinja
SharkNinja is a household appliance brand with a UK site selling hair tools, cleaning machines, kitchen appliances and beauty devices. Its range is broad, so the useful starting point is the category you need rather than the brand alone. The site also highlights bundles, which are worth checking closely.
