Canopy Beauty: what to know before you buy

The story

Canopy is run by founders Debra and Nicholas, who bring backgrounds in occupational therapy and creative design. They say the brand is built on the balance of efficacy, sustainability and thoughtful design. The idea is that small daily rituals, from skincare to a lit candle, can make a day calmer. Everything is designed and made in the UK, and the brand talks a lot about sustainable packaging and ingredients chosen with the planet in mind.

The range

Canopy sells face care, soy candles and gift sets. The skincare covers cleansing, serums, creams, an eye cream and facial oils, and the company describes it as botanically active. It says the whole range is vegan and cruelty free.

The candles are hand-poured in small batches from soy wax, and Canopy describes them as clean burning and biodegradable. The seasonal ones are limited editions, so a scent that sells out may not come back.

Rituals box

The Seasonal Rituals Box is a quarterly subscription. Each box has a limited edition candle and a full-size skin or self-care product, and gift wrapping is included. It can also be bought as a gift for someone else.

Delivery

Orders go by tracked Evri delivery and are processed in a few working days. Canopy delivers to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland only, not abroad. Delivery costs and any free-delivery offer show in the basket.

Saving

Live codes are listed on this page. Copy one and enter it at Canopy’s checkout. Joining the Canopy Collective mailing list gives a welcome offer, and the Wellness Points scheme earns credit towards later orders on one-off purchases.

Returns

Tell Canopy within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unopened and in resalable condition, and return postage is yours unless the item is faulty or wrong. Damaged items are replaced or refunded.

  • Pure Beauty

Pure Beauty is a Lichfield-based online beauty retailer selling professional skincare from brands including Dermalogica, Elemis, Medik8 and SkinCeuticals, alongside Olaplex haircare. It sits alongside a salon run from the same Georgian building, so the range leans towards treatment-led products rather than high-street basics.

  • Wilder Botanics

Wilder Botanics makes organic skincare, herbal teas, tinctures and bath rituals, developed by naturopath Rachel Landon and hand-blended in small batches in London. The range leans towards slow, botanically led products rather than quick fixes, so it suits shoppers wanting plant-based oils and teas.

  • 5Kind

5Kind makes topical creams and gels built around naturally derived oils and botanical extracts. The range is split into hemp, arnica, bee venom, magnesium and tone and firming lines, so the first decision is usually which active suits the job: post-activity massage, skin care or night-time use.
