The product
Circleback records and transcribes meetings, then writes organised notes and pulls out action items, with each speaker labelled by name. You can search across every conversation and ask questions of your meeting history. Transcription covers a wide range of languages, according to the company, and it is backed by Y Combinator.
Recording
For online meetings you can have a bot join the call or use the bot-free desktop app. For meetings in a room there are iPhone, Android and Apple Watch apps. That mix makes it handy if you move between video calls and in-person catch-ups.
Integrations
Circleback connects to Google Calendar, Gmail and Outlook, and sends notes and updates to Slack, Notion, Linear, HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio and more. It also offers an API, webhooks, an MCP server and a command-line tool, so AI apps like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can draw on your meetings.
Pricing
There is a free plan with a limited meeting history and limited automations, then paid Pro, Business and Enterprise tiers that add unlimited history, all integrations, admin controls and single sign-on. Prices are in US dollars per user, with a discount for annual billing. Paid plans offer a free trial. Teammates who only read shared notes can be added as free viewers.
Saving
Any live code is listed on this page. Copy it and enter it at checkout. It is also worth trying the free plan first, since it already covers notes, action items and transcripts. Circleback also lists discounts for students and non-profits, which you request by signing up with a school or non-profit email.
Security
Circleback says it is SOC 2 Type II certified, supports GDPR duties and does not train models on customer data. Data is held in the United States, and transfers from the UK rely on its Data Privacy Framework certification.
