The story
Complete Unity Yoga began in 2016, when founders Malene and Will spent a year teaching and practising at a yoga ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas. They found most yoga equipment was low quality and made from plastic, so they set out to make something better from natural materials.
The range
The flagship is the CompleteGrip mat, which pairs woven jute with sustainably harvested natural rubber. It comes as a standard mat and a slimmer travel mat, and in sets that add bags, straps and other kit. Beyond mats you will find bolsters, blocks, blankets, meditation cushions, eye pillows, acupressure mats and water bottles.
Who it suits
The company says the mats suit beginners and experienced practitioners across all styles of yoga and fitness. The grip is the selling point, so it is aimed at anyone who is tired of slipping mid-pose. The brand says it has been featured in national press, and its own product pages carry customer reviews so you can read how the mats hold up in practice. Gift cards are also available if you are buying for someone else.
Delivery
Orders ship from the UK on weekdays, with standard delivery as the default. Express next-day and Saturday options exist for UK addresses, and the shop also sends to Europe, the United States and further afield. Costs, free-shipping rules and any duties for non-EU countries are set out in its shipping policy and at checkout.
Saving
The shop runs separate discount routes for yoga teachers and for disabled customers, and a refer-a-friend scheme. Any live code is listed on this page: copy it and enter it at their checkout.
Returns
Returns go through an online portal. Items need to be unused and in their original packaging, and the return window is set out in the refund policy. You pay for return postage, and the original shipping charge is only refunded if the item was faulty.
