Shopping with Debenhams
Debenhams runs promotions almost constantly, so the trick is picking the right code and not paying delivery you didn't need to.
Which code to use
- **SAVE5** takes £5 off orders over £50. It's in the promo strip across the whole site with no end date given, so it's the fallback for any basket over fifty quid.
- **BEAUTY5** gives an extra 5% off Debenhams Beauty on top of the at-least-20% off already on it. It ends on 27 September 2026, so if you're stocking up on skincare or fragrance, get it done this week.
- **FREEDEL** gets you free next day or express delivery. Next day normally costs £5.99, so on a small order that's worth more than SAVE5.
I'd expect one code per order, so do the maths: under £50, use FREEDEL; well over £50 on beauty, BEAUTY5 probably wins; between those, compare SAVE5 against the £5.99 you'd pay for next day.
Delivery
UK Standard Delivery is £3.99. Supersaver is £2.99, or 99p on orders over £30, if you're not in a hurry. Next Day is £5.99. If you order from Debenhams a lot, the Unlimited delivery membership makes every delivery option free for a year on orders over £15. Delivery takes longer at peak times.
Returns
You have 21 days from delivery to send something back, and a return fee (from £2.49 a parcel) comes out of your refund. Deliver+ adds 14 days to that window. Plenty of stock comes from partner brands, and the return steps can change depending on who supplied the item, so check the Returns Portal before you post anything. Refunds can take up to 14 days after the warehouse receives your parcel, plus a few days for your bank.
Paying
PayPal is available at checkout. With codes like these live most weeks, I wouldn't wait for a big sale to buy something you actually need.
Codes can vanish without warning and Debenhams' own terms apply, so check the discount has come off in your basket before you pay.
