Choosing between phone and broadband bundles
The site lets you choose between phone and broadband, or phone only, once you enter your postcode and select your address. If you already have a line at the property, you can enter the existing number so the provider can check whether it can be carried over. That step matters because phone numbers can sometimes not be moved between suppliers, in which case you would be given a new one.
Understanding the call plans
The 700 minute plan includes free calls of up to 60 minutes each to 01, 02 and 03 numbers and mobiles, with a fair usage limit of 700 minutes a month. The Anytime plan has a higher allowance of 2000 minutes or 300 calls a month, and also covers calls up to 60 minutes. If you make long calls or talk to mobiles heavily, read these limits carefully before choosing, as calls over the cap are charged at standard rates.
Planning your first bill and cancellation window
Your first invoice covers the part month from activation to the end of the month plus the following month's package cost. Bills are generated around the 7th and collected on the 17th unless you pick another date. New orders also carry a statutory 14 day cooling off period from when you agree to join, though this right is lost if installation is brought forward and the service goes live.
Getting support and paying by direct debit
Support teams are UK based, and the published operating hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm. If you struggle with a bill, the customer care line can help arrange a payment option. Credit checks are not carried out, but an active payment method is required on the account.
