AI website builder for small service businesses, with bookings, a CRM, invoices and local search tools in one account
Durable has a free plan. Prices in US dollars as Durable's pricing page showed them on 11 October 2026.
Durable is an AI website builder for small service businesses such as cleaners, coaches, tradespeople and photographers. It writes a site from a few answers about your business, then adds bookings, a simple CRM, invoices and local search tools in the same account. The free plan only builds a private preview; publishing starts at the Launch plan, $25 a month, or $22 a month billed yearly, which saves 15%.
Answering three questions about your business produces a full site with written copy, images and pages. A drag-and-drop editor then changes sections, images, fonts, colours and themes without code.
A chat assistant that makes changes in the account when asked, such as updating a phone number across the site, replacing images, running a competitor report or drafting daily social posts. Changes land as a draft to review before publishing.
A Visibility Score combines search rankings, directory listings and reviews. AI rankings show whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Grok mention the business for chosen searches, and Google Business Profile details stay in sync.
Services with prices, durations and pre-booking questions go behind a Book now button on the site. Bookings sync with Google Calendar, add Google Meet links, send reminders and can be paid up front or afterwards.
Contact form submissions and bookings create customer records automatically. Customers can be imported or exported by CSV, and invoices with automatic payment reminders are sent from the same place.
Background agents write blog posts for keyword opportunities, reply to new website leads, request and answer Google reviews, and research competitors, using the plan's monthly AI credits.
An image studio generates and edits logos, social graphics and website images from prompts, with a canvas for adjusting designs.
The Grow plan translates a site into up to five extra languages, keeps translations in step with edits to the original, and adds a language switcher to the navigation.

Prices are shown in US dollars only, with no mention of VAT or pounds. Yearly billing saves 15%. No student or non-profit discount is listed. Prices in US dollars, from Durable's pricing page on 11 October 2026. Durable may charge VAT on top, and prices can change.
“Durable made it super easy to get a high quality website off and running”
“Really frustrating to not be able to get support over the weekend. Love the website design features; the support, on the other hand, is not so great.”
“Exceptionally expensive, underdeveloped, and feature-lacking.”
Durable is worth paying for if you run a local service business and want a decent website, online bookings and a contact list without stitching several tools together. It is a weaker choice if you need full design control, a proper online shop or a large content site.
The Launch plan covers a published website on your own domain, unlimited bookings synced to Google Calendar, a CRM with unlimited customers, SEO and GEO tools, and 1,000 AI credits a month for jobs such as blog posts, social posts and replies to leads. Durable compares that bundle with paying for separate website, booking and CRM subscriptions.
Reviewers on Trustpilot most often praise how quickly a site goes live and how patient the live chat team is. The complaints that recur are limited layout control, slow or absent weekend support, and difficulty moving a domain away from Durable.
Durable prices its plans in US dollars only, so UK customers pay the dollar price converted by their card provider. The pricing page does not mention pounds, VAT or regional prices.
The free plan cannot publish to a Durable subdomain or a custom domain, so it is a way to see what the AI produces rather than a free website.
Durable suits owners who want the website, bookings, CRM and local search help done for them, while Framer suits people who care most about design and are happy to build pages by hand. Framer gives far more control over layout, animation and content management, but it has no built-in CRM, bookings or invoicing.
Against Wix and Squarespace, which Durable compares itself with on its own site, Durable is quicker to set up and more focused on service businesses, but it has fewer templates, no app marketplace and no full ecommerce. Anything is closer to an AI app builder and suits people building software rather than a business website.
Yes, but there are conditions. A domain registered through Durable can only be transferred out once the subscription has been active for three consecutive months, the account has no unpaid balance, and you ask support for the transfer code.
Domain transfers are the most serious complaint in Durable's low-star Trustpilot and Product Hunt reviews, with several owners describing long waits to get their domain released. Durable's pricing page says the transfer takes a couple of weeks. Buying the domain from a separate registrar and connecting it to Durable avoids this, and Durable says connecting an existing domain takes about five minutes.
For UK businesses, .uk and .co.uk domains bought through Durable are registered with Nominet, which may email you to confirm contact details.
Durable covers the basics well and adds tools for local visibility that most simple builders lack. Every site gets optimised titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt file for AI assistants.
Paid plans add a Visibility Score, directory listings, Google Business Profile syncing, review requests and AI rankings that show whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Grok mention your business for chosen searches. Launch can refresh those rankings once a week and Grow once a day. Directory examples on Durable's site lean towards US services such as Yelp, Angi and the Better Business Bureau, so UK owners may get less from that part.
Paying yearly is the only saving Durable states. It cuts Launch from $25 to $22 a month and Grow from $49 to $41 a month, about 15% off.
The free preview is a sensible first step: it shows the AI-written site and lets you test the editor before paying anything. Durable does not advertise student, charity or non-profit discounts.

The free plan builds a private website preview, gives 300 AI credits in total and lets you store up to 10 customers. It does not include a Durable subdomain or a custom domain, so the site cannot go live until you upgrade.
You can cancel at any time from Account Settings, and the plan stays active until the end of the billing period. Durable does not issue refunds automatically on cancellation; support considers them case by case for errors or exceptional circumstances.
Durable says it is not designed for ecommerce businesses. It can take card payments for invoices and bookings through Stripe, but it has no shopping basket or product catalogue.
Durable processes payments through Stripe and says it adds no fees of its own, so UK businesses pay Stripe's standard UK rates. Payments can be taken for invoices and for bookings, either at the time of booking or after the appointment.
Durable runs in a web browser and the sites it builds are mobile friendly. Its website does not list a Mac, Windows or mobile app.
Yes. The Grow plan includes unlimited team members, and Durable's help centre explains how to set up team members for bookings.
