The story
Durovin Bathrooms is a UK supplier of bathroom fixtures, furniture and accessories, run from an industrial park in Walsall. Its stated ethos is luxury for less: premium-looking bathroom ware without the premium price tag. It says many customers come back, which it puts down to products built to last.
The range
Basins are a speciality, and the shop makes a point of stone resin, also called cast stone, which it describes as durable and renewable. They come wall hung, countertop, semi-recessed and as freestanding pedestals, including sizes for cloakrooms. Then there are toilets, including wall hung and bidet toilets, shower enclosures in rectangular, quadrant and pentagonal shapes, shower trays, bath screens and glass canopies. It has also moved beyond the bathroom into interior sliding glass doors.
Who it suits
This is a shop for people refitting a bathroom or kitting out a new home or business. Installation guides, technical drawings and product certificates are published on the site, and the team can be reached by chat or phone if you are unsure what fits. Durovin says it has no installation teams of its own, so plan on a fitter.
Delivery
Orders go by courier on business days only, to mainland UK. Smaller single-person items travel on a next business day service, while heavy items need two people and are priced by postcode area. Delivery to Scotland, Northern Ireland and the islands can differ, so check your postcode at checkout. The drivers bring items into your home but don't offer a room of choice service.
Returns
A change-of-mind return is accepted on items that are unused, uninstalled and in their original packaging, within the window set out in the returns policy. Anything used or installed is non-refundable, and made-to-order products are excluded. Return postage is normally yours, and the policy lists the fees by item size, so read it before you send something back.
Saving
Live codes and deals for Durovin appear on this page, and you enter a code at its checkout. The site also runs an offers section and rewards for account holders, which are worth a look before you pay.
