The story
eFans Direct is a family business based in Greater Manchester. It says it brings decades of experience in heating, ventilation, building and facilities services, and that its team includes site engineers who can help if you need advice or a custom-made product. The aim, in its words, is to be the go-to supplier for made-to-measure and stock-sized ventilation.
The range
The shop covers bathroom and kitchen extractors, inline duct and box fans, positive input ventilation, heat recovery units, air valves, grilles and diffusers, weather louvres, heaters and air curtains. There is also ducting and fittings, fire and non-return dampers, controllers, filters and roof cowls. It stocks brands such as Systemair, Vent-Axia, Zehnder, Xpelair, S&P and Elta.
Made to order
Louvres for odd-sized openings can be made to order. That suits builders and installers working to a particular opening, and homeowners with a non-standard wall. Some specially imported or custom-made items can't be returned, so it is worth being sure of the size.
Delivery
Standard delivery to the UK mainland is the default, with next working day and nominated day options if you need a particular date. Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Channel Islands are served at flat rates with longer lead times. Charges and any free-delivery threshold are shown on the delivery page and at checkout.
Returns
Unwanted items can go back if they are unused, in like-new condition and in their original packaging, and the request is made within the time set out on the returns page. A restocking fee applies, and you pay the return postage. Damaged goods should be reported to the shop quickly, with photos, and faulty items are handled with the manufacturer.
Saving
Live codes and deals for eFans Direct appear on this page, and you enter a code at its checkout. The shop also offers credit accounts on set terms for trade buyers, and a mailing list for offers.
