The story
George Henry Hinds opened the first F.Hinds store on Harrow Road in Paddington in 1856. The company says it has stayed independent and family-run ever since, across six generations, and describes its approach as helping customers feel confident they've chosen the right piece.
The range
Engagement and wedding rings are a big part of it, with certificated diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and a bespoke design service. There are also watches, gold and silver jewellery, gemstones and gifts. You can browse by metal, stone or cut, and the site has buying guides on hallmarks, white gold and diamonds.
In store
Branches across England and Wales mean you can see pieces in person, get ring sizing advice and collect online orders. The company also offers services for pieces you've bought, including ring-size adjustments, engagement ring fittings and diamond cleaning.
Delivery
Economy and express delivery are both available, and the charges and timings are on its delivery page. Express is next working day after dispatch, but only for items held in head office stock ordered before midday, and a Saturday delivery isn't guaranteed. Larger orders need a signature, and in-store collection is free. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and some islands can take longer.
Saving
The brand has a Price Promise and will price match qualifying retailers if you find the same item cheaper, via your local branch. It also runs a loyalty scheme called Love Hinds. Any live code is listed on this page: copy it and enter it at checkout.
Returns
You can get a refund or exchange if goods are unsuitable or no longer wanted, provided they come back unused and in pristine condition with their packaging. Take them to any branch with your order confirmation, or post them with the returns form. Postage is at your cost, so keep proof of posting.

Angara
Angara sells handmade gemstone jewellery, with rings, earrings and necklaces forming the core of the range. It suits shoppers who want coloured stones as the main feature rather than plain everyday metalwork. The range is wide, so narrowing by piece type is the quickest way to find something right.

Angel Barocco
Angel Barocco sells freshwater pearl and sterling silver jewellery, with a focus on baroque pearls where each piece is naturally irregular. The range runs from earrings and necklaces to brooches, rings and bracelets, with personalised options such as initial and birth constellation designs.

Cufflinks Gift Hub

Finediam
Finediam sells diamond engagement rings, earrings, tennis bracelets and necklaces from its Hatton Garden studio in London. A ready-to-ship range sits alongside made-to-order and bespoke pieces, so the right choice depends on whether you need something finished now or want a piece made to your own specification.
