Grubby sends fully plant-based food in two forms. Meal kits come with every ingredient pre-portioned in its own paper bag, plus a step-by-step recipe card, so all you need at home is oil, salt and pepper. Ready meals are single portions, cooked in small batches and frozen, then heated in minutes. The menu changes each week, and you don't need to be vegan to order: Grubby says most of its customers aren't. Its veg comes largely from British family farms, and it is a certified B Corp.
Grubby runs as a weekly subscription with no lock-in. You choose your dishes for each delivery, and you can skip weeks, pause or cancel from your account. Changes have to be made before the cut-off, which falls a few days before each delivery while the fresh produce is picked, so it pays to check the date shown in your account. Meal kits serve two or more people per recipe; for one person, the ready meals are the better fit.
Boxes go out on weekdays across mainland Great Britain, by bike in central London and by courier elsewhere, and the courier sends a delivery slot on the day. Grubby doesn't deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands or some remote Scottish postcodes, and its delivery help page lists the excluded areas. You set a safe place in your account for when you're out. Delivery charges, and Grubby's own paid delivery membership, are shown at checkout.
New customers enter a code at checkout when setting up their account, using the promo code link under the order summary. Existing customers add one in their account settings, under discounts and credits. Grubby's introductory offers are for new customers only, one per household, and can't be combined with other offers, so a new-customer code won't work on an existing account.
Fresh food can't be sent back once it's delivered, so getting your choices, address and payment details right before the cut-off matters most. If something arrives damaged, missing or defrosted, Grubby's customer team handles it through live chat or by email at [email protected], and its help centre covers common delivery questions.
