Ebooks bought through the site are read on the Glose app and are limited to a set number of devices, so they suit readers who are happy on a screen. Physical copies are the better pick for gifting or for keeping a collection.

Check pre-orders carefully

Upcoming titles can be pre-ordered, and you are charged at the time of purchase. Shipping only begins once the book is published and available, so a pre-order is not a guarantee of an immediate delivery. If you change your mind before publication, contact customer service with your order number to request a cancellation and refund.

Understand the returns and refund steps

For physical books, the official process asks for returns within 14 working days of purchase, with return postage possibly charged to you. Refunds are handled case by case, and you can contact customer service within 30 days of receiving your order to request one. Digital downloads cannot be returned, and Print on Demand items are only returnable for a manufacturing fault. Damaged orders should be reported within 30 days of receipt.

Gifts and series

The site does not offer gift wrapping, so plan for that separately if you want presentation. For series, check the volume number before buying so you do not start a later book by mistake.
