For a couple with light luggage, a shared shuttle may suit; for a family or a group with heavy cases, a private vehicle is usually the easier choice.

Checking luggage before you book Luggage allowances depend on the transfer type. Shared shuttles allow one standard suitcase per passenger plus one small hand-carried item, measuring up to 70cm high and 47cm wide. Private transfers are limited by the vehicle's overall luggage capacity, so count your cases against the figure shown in search results. Declare sports equipment, pushchairs or mobility aids at booking, as undeclared oversized items may be refused.

Getting the flight details right For airport transfers, the pick-up time is worked out from your flight details, so accurate flight numbers and times matter. Shuttles need a flight number to be arranged at all. If your group lands on different flights, the driver will only monitor the flight given in the booking, so the rest of the party should be at the agreed meeting point.

Cancelling and amending You can amend some details yourself, such as contact information and flight times, through the My Bookings section. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booked outbound transfer incur a full charge. Tailor-made bookings follow the supplier's own cancellation policy, so check that once your booking is confirmed.
