This is Jace, an AI email assistant for Gmail and Outlook from Zeta AI. It sorts your inbox with labels, drafts replies in your own writing style and answers questions about your mail in a chat.
Jace studies your sent emails to learn your tone and phrasing, then drafts a reply to every message labelled Needs Reply. Drafts can pull context from attachments, your calendar, Slack and connected documents.
Incoming mail is labelled by intent, such as Needs Reply, To Do, Waiting, FYI or Promotion. You can write your own labels by describing in a prompt which emails belong under them.
Rules tell Jace how to handle particular emails: always CC an assistant on leads, use a formal template for new clients or pick a different sign-off by recipient. Teams can share rules across a workspace.
A chat panel, which Jace calls an AI chief of staff, answers questions about your email history and carries out multi-step tasks, such as finding last month's invoices and drafting an email to accounts.
Jace spots scheduling requests, checks your Google Calendar for free times and drafts the invite or adds your Calendly link. When you are waiting on a reply, it prepares a follow-up draft.
Jace connects to tools such as Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Linear, HubSpot and Stripe, plus thousands more through Pipedream Connect. Automation flows can act on arriving emails, for example by creating a ticket or posting to Slack.

Jace connects to your Gmail or Outlook account and works inside the inbox you already use. It reads your past sent mail to learn how you write, labels incoming messages by type and priority, and prepares a draft for the ones that need a reply. You review each draft and send it, and nothing goes out on its own unless you switch on auto-send.
Beyond drafts, Jace has smart rules that can copy in a colleague, apply a template or choose a sign-off depending on who you are writing to. Its chat lets you ask about your business and your mail, find a file or have it complete a task. Integrations let it pull context from tools such as Slack and your documents into a reply.
