Choosing the right bed type
Laybrook's official pages describe a range of adjustable models rather than a single bed, so start by deciding what you need the bed to do. The site refers to turning beds and rotational beds, and to a high-low hospital-style bed, which suggest different types of movement and height adjustment. Check the specifications for each model before comparing prices, as the brochure lists the full range with specifications.
Understanding delivery options
The delivery page sets out a standard service, with free delivery and installation on the UK mainland expected within 21 working days, excluding Scotland and the Highlands. Special sizes can take a few days longer. Installation is carried out by trained engineers who explain and demonstrate how the bed works, rather than leaving it flat-packed.
Checking whether your area is covered
Some postcodes attract a delivery charge, and the page lists these by area, including parts of England, Wales, the Isle of Wight and Scotland. Scotland and the Highlands sit outside the standard timescale, and the super-fast service may not be available there. Look up your postcode in the table before you order so you know whether a surcharge applies.
Ordering and getting help
If you have questions about your order or delivery, the company provides a phone line and sales contact details on its delivery page. Ask for confirmation of your postcode's delivery charge and expected timing in writing when you book.
