Lentiamo: what to know before you buy
The story
Lentiamo was founded in 2008 by two friends who wanted to improve the eyewear industry for customers. It began with contact lenses and has since added sunglasses, prescription glasses, blue light glasses and accessories. The company is based in the Czech Republic, runs web shops in many European countries including the UK, and has opticians’ shops in Prague and Brno.
The range
Contact lenses come as daily, two-weekly and monthly types, with solutions and eye care products. Frames cover prescription glasses, designer sunglasses and computer glasses. Lentiamo says it buys directly from authorised manufacturers, with brands such as Acuvue, Biofinity, Oakley and Ray-Ban.
Regular shipping

You get a text and email before each shipment and can postpone, change or cancel it. Lentiamo says the service also carries a standing discount on chosen lenses and keeps lenses with longer lead times, such as toric, ordered in advance.
Delivery
