Lights 4 Living says it has been in the lighting business for decades, selling through a retail showroom in Chippenham and through its website. That long history, it explains, gave it good relationships with its suppliers, which is how it aims to offer quality lighting at fair prices with old-fashioned customer service.
The shop covers the whole house. Ceiling lights run from pendants and chandeliers to flush and semi-flush fittings, and there are wall lights, picture lights, lamps, spotlights and bulbs to go with them. Bathroom lights and outdoor lights, from porch lanterns to garden and security lighting, have their own sections, and there is a contract lighting area for restaurants and hotels. It stocks branded lights only, and says that means you know who to go to for spare parts later.
Orders go out with DPD, Parcelforce or Royal Mail, depending on the size of the item and where it is going. The shop says delivery usually arrives soon after dispatch and that you get an email when it ships. You can't pick an exact date, but missed deliveries are tried again. Delivery costs and any free-delivery threshold are shown in the basket, and parts of the Scottish Highlands and other remote areas can carry extra charges. Weekend delivery costs more. You can also collect from the showroom.
Lights 4 Living runs a price promise: if you find the same product cheaper elsewhere on a like-for-like basis, it says it will beat the genuine price, subject to its terms. Any live code is listed on this page, so copy it and enter it at checkout.
Every light carries a guarantee against manufacturing faults, and the shop will repair or replace a faulty product. Light bulbs aren't covered. It also suggests waiting until everything has arrived and checked out before you book an electrician.
You can cancel an unwanted order by telling them in writing within the legal cancellation period after delivery. The shop then sends a returns form. Unless the goods are faulty, return postage is your cost, and you stay responsible for them until they reach the shop.
We don't currently list a confirmed discount code. That doesn't mean the store has no promotions; check its website for current prices.
Read the retailer's current policy before buying. Eligibility can depend on the product, its condition and whether it has been used or activated. Lights 4 Living delivery and returns
