The story
Loveness Lee began as the vision of its founder, Loveness, a trained jeweller who grew up in China and went on to study jewellery design in London, including at Central Saint Martins. Her idea was to let nature act as a collaborator, so abstract textures and forms found in the natural world become wearable sculptures. The brand launched in 2017 and opened its flagship at the OXO Tower on the South Bank in 2019. The store doubles as the workshop, so you can watch the team at work while you browse.
The range
The collection covers earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets, from bold gold-plated statement pieces to dainty freshwater pearls. Because each design takes its texture from something found in nature, pieces are recognisable as Loveness Lee but never quite identical. Gift cards, gift packaging and a bespoke service for engagement, wedding and one-off commissions sit alongside the ready-made pieces.
Materials
Pieces are cast in certified recycled sterling silver, with selected designs in 18ct gold plating, freshwater pearls and lab-grown gemstones. The brand says the recycled silver looks and feels exactly like new silver, and that using lab-grown stones means less mining damage. Casting is done in Scotland, small findings come from Hatton Garden, and the brand says every piece is handmade in the UK.
Delivery
UK orders arrive by next-day delivery when placed before the weekday cut-off shown at checkout. The brand also ships to a long list of countries abroad, with taxes and duties included in the total you see at checkout. A few designs are made to order, which the product page flags, and those take extra weeks to craft.
Returns
You can return standard, non-personalised pieces if you email the brand within two weeks of receiving them, then send them back within a further two weeks. Return postage is yours to pay, and bespoke or personalised items are only refundable if faulty. Gift cards can’t be returned. Contact them before you post anything back.
Aftercare
Every purchase comes with an aftercare programme that includes one free refresh, such as re-plating, restringing pearls or resetting a stone. You cover the postage to the studio and the team does the rest.
