The story
Lunar Artefacts is a London design studio built on a dislike of disposable things. Its story page describes a commitment to crafting with intention, reinventing conventional objects with durable premium materials and expert finishing so they gain character over time.
Each piece starts as a sketch, then moves to sculpting and 3D clay models before materials and finishes are chosen.
The range
The studio is best known for its precision screwdriver and a car-inspired bottle opener, alongside a wireless charger, a dual-port charger, a computer mouse, a desk mat and mouse pad, and a leather phone pouch. Sets and a signature gift box bring pieces together, and accessories and spare parts are sold separately.
The shop groups things by occasion too, with gifts for dads, desk gifts, gifts for her and him, and corporate gifts. Personalised engraving and a gift card are on offer for presents.
Materials
The brand says it looks worldwide for full-grain leather, selected metals and quality electrical components. It describes marks and patina as part of the story each piece tells. Packaging is made from sugarcane paper and printed with soy ink, which the studio presents as part of its sustainability commitment.
Repairs
Repairability is central to the pitch. Lunar Artefacts says parts that wear can be replaced, and it runs a lifetime repair service for its devices covering consultations, cleaning, polishing and repair, plus guidance on care and maintenance.
Delivery
UK orders go by DPD Next Day or Royal Mail 48, with the cost of each shown at checkout. The site says orders placed before its cut-off time can go out for next-day delivery. The studio operates dispatch centres around the world, so it can't promise every item leaves the UK. It ships to many countries, and overseas orders can attract import duties and taxes.
Returns
You can return or exchange an unused item in its original packaging if you start within the stated window, and you should contact customer support first. Return postage is at your cost. Personalised and engraved items can't be returned for a refund or exchanged, and opened sealed products are excluded for hygiene reasons.
