If timing matters, such as an anniversary breakfast or a sympathy visit, the morning option is worth paying for. Morning delivery before 12pm carries a supplement at checkout, and the help page quotes it at £12.50 with £8.50 for standard. If nobody is home, the courier will try a safe place or a neighbour before returning the order to depot.
