Choosing between cordless platforms
Many of the cordless tools listed here run on 18V or 36V systems, and some are sold in different types or kit configurations. Before you buy a drill, saw or blower, check whether the listing is for the tool alone or includes batteries and a charger, as the price and usefulness can differ considerably. Where a product offers several types, the product page is the place to confirm exactly what you are getting.
Delivery options that suit your project
For bulkier items such as a pressure washer or a garden shredder, the basket shows the delivery charge based on size, weight and your postcode. Standard UK delivery starts from a set amount, but large or heavy items are priced individually. If you need the tool quickly, check the in-stock status shown on the product page, since items not in stock may take a few days to arrive. Click and collect from the Enfield store avoids delivery charges altogether.
Checking your order on arrival
Inspect your delivery as soon as it arrives. Damage needs to be reported within five days of delivery, so it helps to keep the packaging until the company has been in touch. Keep your invoice handy in case you need to contact customer services.
Returns and faulty items
Unwanted goods can be returned within 30 days if they are unused, in saleable condition and in their original packaging. Faulty items after 30 days are best raised first with the manufacturer, as their helpline is often the quickest route to a repair or warranty fix.
