What does mytyres.co.uk sell?
mytyres.co.uk sells tyres for cars, vans and 4x4s, along with alloy and steel rims and complete wheels. Car tyres are split into summer, winter and all-season ranges, and the site also lists run-flat, electric car and low rolling resistance tyres. The UK shop is run by Delticom Ltd in Witney, Oxfordshire, part of the German tyre retailer Delticom AG. To see tyres from several sellers side by side first, Tyres.net gathers offers from different shops in one place.
How do you find the right tyre size?
The size is printed on the tyre's sidewall, and the site has a guide to reading the width, profile and rim diameter. You can also search by vehicle, but mytyres.co.uk says the sizes it suggests are for information only and do not replace your car's handbook, so check the handbook or the tyres already fitted before ordering. If your car has a tyre pressure monitoring system, the site advises checking that your sensors work with the new set.
Can mytyres.co.uk deliver to a garage for fitting?
Yes. At checkout you can send the tyres to a fitting station partner, found by postcode on the site, and mytyres.co.uk tells that garage when the tyres leave its warehouse. It still suggests calling the garage to agree a fitting time. You can also send them to your home or any other UK address, such as your own garage, but then you need to tell that garage to expect them. Deliveries go by DPD or GLS, and an email gives an estimated delivery date once the order is on its way. If you would rather not deal with garages at all, Fixter arranges servicing and repairs with a driver collecting the car.
How do you pay, and what does delivery cost?
mytyres.co.uk takes credit card, PayPal and bank transfer in advance. Its payment FAQ says the tyre prices shown include VAT and delivery within the UK, with an extra charge when you order a single tyre, so the checkout total is the figure to compare. Orders are checked before dispatch, including a standard credit check.
Can you return tyres to mytyres.co.uk?
Yes, as long as they have not been fitted or used: the site offers a money-back guarantee within the return period set out on its returns page. Tyres that arrive faulty or damaged are covered by your consumer rights and the site's warranty, and customer service sends a claim form rather than taking tyres at its head office. If faulty tyres have already been fitted, the site says to contact the fitting station first.
