Purr and Mutt: what to know before you buy
Choosing a style
The collection splits broadly into contemporary designs and more vintage-inspired ones, with titles such as The General, The King and Royal Highness hinting at the regal, period look of some options. If your pet has a formal or stately presence, a vintage style may suit; for a cleaner, modern look, the contemporary designs are the better fit.
Picking the right photo
The site walks you through selecting a suitable photo or taking a new one, and points to a photo guide for better results. A clear, well-lit shot where your pet's face is easy to see will generally give the strongest portrait, so it is worth reviewing that guide before you upload.
Using the instant preview
After you upload your photo at the product page, a preview is generated straight away. The site states that if you are not happy with it you can generate up to five alternative variations before the portrait is printed, so take time to compare options before confirming.
Delivery and print quality
The site advertises free worldwide delivery and says the portraits are printed using museum grade inks and paper. Check the checkout page for the delivery timescale that applies to your address before ordering for a specific date.
