Reading the terms before you buy
Cover does not start within 72 hours of purchase, so buy before you need it rather than after a breakdown. Cover also depends on the vehicle being maintained to the manufacturer's recommendations, so keep your service record up to date. Cancelling within 14 days of receiving documents gives a refund minus an administration charge, and amendments carry the same charge.
