Shopping with SafeFort (UK)

Matching a safe to the risk

SafeFort says it only supplies safes that have met independent recognised testing standards, so the sensible starting point is the risk you are protecting against rather than the budget. Valuables, documents, cash and firearms each call for different products, and the site groups them into home and office, deposit and till, and gun safes and cabinets.

Checking the delivery arrangements

Smaller items under 30kg are normally delivered within three to five working days by courier or ParcelForce, while heavier items go by specialist courier or pallet service. Larger items are delivered kerbside, meaning the driver will not bring them into your home. If you need a safe moved up stairs or placed inside, SafeFort says this can be quoted in advance, so ask before you order.

Thinking about installation

SafeFort offers professional installation by certified installers, who are said to anchor safes so that insurance ratings are not invalidated. The standard rate covers ground floor installations only, and stairs or lift access need a separate quote. Installations are usually completed within one to two weeks, depending on availability.

Understanding returns before you buy

UK customers can cancel within 14 days of receiving goods, and SafeFort also offers a 30-day returns policy for items in as-new condition with original packaging, keys and proof of purchase. Heavy items are collected by courier, and you pay return costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Made-to-order products and gift cards are not returnable unless faulty.
