You will receive the property manager's contact details once a provisional booking is made, so questions about a specific property can go to the manager or to Snaptrip's customer support.
Check the pet and guest details carefully
If you are travelling with a dog, look for the paw print on the listing, which shows how many dogs the property accepts. Pets are not allowed upstairs or on furniture, and should not be left alone in the property or garden. A pet-friendly tag does not guarantee an enclosed garden, so check the images and ask. Guest numbers are a firm limit: extra guests can void the owner's insurance, and an additional infant may only be possible if a cot is available.
Read the cancellation and amendment terms for each property
Because each property manager sets its own policy, cancellation costs depend on the property and how close to the stay you cancel. Amending dates may carry a charge set by the manager. Check these details before you commit, and keep your confirmation emails, since they contain the manager's details.
Use the price guarantee with a clear head
Snaptrip says it will not charge more than booking directly on the partner's site, and offers a refund if you find a lower price elsewhere that it is asked to match. Members can access additional discounts. Compare the total cost, including any security deposit, which some managers request and refund after checkout if no damage is found.
