This is Superhuman, the AI productivity suite from the makers of Grammarly, built around the Superhuman Mail email app. It also brings the Grammarly writing assistant, Docs and the Go assistant together.
Splits the inbox into tabs such as team, VIPs, calendar and tools like Google Docs or Notion, so important mail is handled first. A library of ready-made splits is included.
Writes and rewrites emails in your voice, offers one-tap Instant Replies, summarises threads and corrects typos as you type. Auto Labels and Auto Archive file and clear low-priority mail such as marketing and cold pitches.
On Business, replies are drafted in your voice before you open a message, and Ask AI answers questions by searching your email. Both rely on your past emails for context.
Remind Me brings a sent email back if nobody replies by a chosen time, and Send Later and Snooze schedule messages. Undo Send gives a short window to pull back a mistake.
Shows when and on which device recipients opened your email, with Recent Opens on Business for sales follow-up.
Shows your calendar beside the email when you mention a date, turns an email into an event, and shares availability or booking links with Zoom, Google Meet or Teams.
Share a live view of any email with colleagues, comment on it, share drafts and Snippets, and see when a teammate is already replying.
The Business plan adds Grammarly's writing assistant, Superhuman Docs (formerly Coda) and Go, an assistant that works across apps and browser tabs.

Superhuman is a unified brand with a long history behind it. Grammarly was founded in 2009, and Coda, now Superhuman Docs, and Superhuman Mail followed in 2014. Grammarly bought Coda and Superhuman Mail in 2025 and launched Superhuman as the name for the whole suite.
Superhuman Mail is a fast, keyboard-driven email app for Gmail and Outlook. AI sorts and labels incoming mail, drafts replies in your voice, sets reminders and can archive clutter automatically. Split inbox, snippets, send later and scheduling tools sit alongside it, and it runs on desktop, the web and mobile.
Grammarly handles writing help across your apps, Docs is the shared workspace for teams and AI, and Go is an assistant that offers help inside the tools you already use. It also has custom agents for things like meeting prep, meeting recaps and checking claims, and a library of ready-made agents you can share with teammates. Grammarly's tools can also help you sound natural when text has been written with AI.
Superhuman Mail is a paid product with no free Mail plan, and plans are priced per member. Billing is in US dollars with annual billing cheaper than monthly, so UK buyers should expect a currency conversion and to check how tax is applied at checkout. Higher tiers add more advanced AI, and larger teams talk to sales.
It is built for heavy email users, such as founders, sales and customer-facing teams, who want to clear their inbox quickly. Teams get shared conversations, comments and drafts, plus coaching on the plans that include it. If you only want writing help, Grammarly on its own may be the lighter choice.
