Shopping with Sweaty Betty

The code

**EXTRA15** takes an extra 15% off sale items. It's for the sale section only, so it won't touch new-season kit at full price. There's no end date on it, but sale stock moves fast and sizes vanish, so I wouldn't treat that as an invitation to wait.

What makes it good is the maths. The sale is currently listing pieces at 30% to 70% off, with "up to 60% off" on the banner, and an extra 15% on an already-halved pair of leggings is a proper price. My move: filter the sale by your size first, then add the code at checkout. Codes rarely stack with each other, so don't expect to add a second one on top.

Sign up to Insiders first

Sweaty Betty's Insiders loyalty programme is the first thing I'd sign up to. Sweaty Betty says Insiders get free standard delivery every time they shop, a birthday treat, Insider-only offers and first access to sales. If you're planning to hit the next big sale, that early access is the difference between getting your size and not.

There's also a Student & Graduate Discount if you qualify, so check that before you pay full price for anything.

Returns

Returns are free and you get 45 days, which is generous for activewear. Items need to come back unworn and unwashed, so try things on at home before your first class, not after.

Timing

If you're after something specific that isn't marked down yet, join Insiders (they get first access to sales) and watch the sale page rather than paying full whack.

You can split the bill with Klarna (three interest-free instalments) or Clearpay. As ever, the code can be pulled early and Sweaty Betty's terms apply, so if your size is in the sale today, I'd grab it today.
