A specialist jeweller is most useful when you already know what you are after. If you are buying a watch, decide first whether you want something for everyday wear or a more formal piece, then compare what the range offers in that category. Jewellery buying often comes down to the metal, the setting and whether the piece suits daily wear, so it helps to think about how often it will be worn before you browse.
Gifts and occasions
Because the business presents itself as a jewellery and watch specialist, it suits gifts where the recipient would appreciate a traditional piece. A watch or a piece of jewellery can mark an anniversary, a milestone or a birthday, and a family business with a long history may appeal to buyers who prefer established names to fast-moving trends.
