Shopping with The Range

What The Range is good for

The Range sells a bit of everything for the home: furniture collections, dining and cooking, bedding and curtains, craft supplies, outdoor living, wild bird care, stationery, health and beauty, and baby and nursery. It is a favourite for filling a room cheaply, and it carries brands as well as its own labels. If you can reserve or collect from a local store, it usually works out cheaper than paying for delivery.

My honest take: the delivery rules are where people get caught out, so read them before you build a big basket.

Delivery and Click & Collect

  • **Free delivery** applies only to items marked as eligible for free delivery, and only when those eligible items come to £59 or more. Ineligible items in the basket do not count towards the £59.
  • **Large Next Day Delivery** is £29.99 on eligible products, if you order by 4pm Monday to Friday.
  • **Collection Point delivery** (on selected products and locations) is £3.95 standard or £4.95 express.
  • **Click & Collect** is free in 263 stores. Reserve & Collect is also available for local stock.
  • Delivery prices change with location, and remote areas can pay more, so the basket shows the real figure once you enter your address.

Student discount

The Range has a student discount through UNiDAYS and Student Beans, aimed at bedding, laundry baskets, cleaning supplies, kitchenware, appliances and stationery. It also publishes a Student Essentials Checklist you can download.

Returns

Store purchases go back in original, unused condition within 14 days of receipt. For online and Click & Collect orders, tell The Range within 14 days of receiving the goods that you want to return them, then return or arrange collection within a further 14 days, with a hard stop at 28 calendar days. Smaller online items can go to any store with the delivery note, but most larger products, such as furniture, cannot. Made-to-order items are excluded from change-of-mind returns, and Marketplace items follow their own rules.
