The Storage Bay

The story

The Storage Bay says its team has decades of experience in the storage and handling industry and uses it to find products that balance quality and value. Its customers include homeowners, office managers, schools, sports clubs, hospitals, libraries, councils and warehouse managers.

The range

Shelving includes chrome wire, Clicka value shelving, plastic and steel units. Racking covers rivet racking, galvanised racking and Twin Slot longspan systems, plus bar and sheet racks. There are also storage boxes and containers, cabinets and lockers, workstations, mesh security caging and handling equipment such as steps, trolleys and pallet trucks.

Choosing a system

Start with the load. Light domestic shelving, chrome wire and heavy rivet racking suit different jobs, and each listing shows its shelf load rating. Check that against what you plan to store, and think about whether you will want to extend the bay later.

Bigger projects

For larger or more complex installations, the site offers a project service that introduces you to a specialist near you for a survey or quotation.

Garage and home

For a garage or utility room, the site points to Clicka shelving and heavy rivet racking, with chrome wire for offices and retail spaces. Galvanised steel is the choice for harsher surroundings. Rivet racking is bolt-free and simple to build, which also makes it easy to extend.

Delivery

Carriage to commercial addresses on the UK mainland is free above a minimum order value, with a charge below it. Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Highlands and Islands are quoted on request. Couriers deliver to the kerbside, so plan how items will get inside, and long palletised goods may need a forklift or extra people to unload.

Saving

Prices are shown with and without VAT, so check which one you are looking at. Any live code on this page can be entered at checkout, and a larger order can bring free carriage to a commercial address.

Returns

Contact the shop before sending anything back. Its terms say a handling fee may be charged on top of any collection costs, so check them before you order.
