Venchi: what to know before you buy
Choosing between Chocoviar and the classic pralines
Chocoviar is the place to start if you want something distinctive. Each piece is a crisp chocolate pearl with a softer filling, so the appeal is the contrast in texture rather than a solid bar. The shop sells it in single-flavour packs of five, which suits a first try before committing to a larger box.
Gift boxes and hampers
The hampers and tins are the most practical buys for a present. Sizes run from small to large, and the range includes assorted chocolate hampers, Chocoviar gift boxes and themed tins. If you are buying for someone who already knows the brand, a single-flavour pack is easier to match to their taste than a mixed selection.
Delivery and returns for UK orders
The UK site says orders over gbp59 ship free. Standard delivery is listed as 1-2 working days for orders placed before 2pm GMT Monday to Thursday, and up to 5 working days otherwise. Shipping is paused on some warmer-period days to protect the chocolate. Food falls outside the standard 14-day right of withdrawal, so check the returns page before ordering a gift you may need to exchange.
Planning around seasonal stock
Holiday ranges such as the Vintage Dream hampers and advent calendars sell through quickly, and the stated delivery times can lengthen during busy periods. Order earlier than you think you need to, particularly for the largest hampers.
