Broadband & TV

Virgin Media

Virgin Media sells broadband, TV and home phone packages across the UK, mostly in areas served by its own cable and fibre network. Before comparing bundles, check availability with your postcode, since not every package is offered everywhere.

No codes right now. We haven't confirmed a Virgin Media code or deal yet. Follow the store and we'll email you when one lands.

Virgin Media: what to know before you buy

Check your postcode first

Virgin Media's services are only available in eligible network areas, and its homepage asks you to enter your postcode before showing what you can get. Every product is also subject to a survey, network capacity and a credit check, so a deal you spot in an advert may not appear at your address. Run the postcode check before spending time on a package.

Understand the minimum term

Most of the packages are sold on a 24-month minimum term, and the price shown is often an introductory rate that changes to a standard monthly price afterwards. The basket shows the minimum contract length for each service, so read it before you pay. Cancelling during that term can trigger an early disconnection fee, and changing or downgrading part of a bundle can remove the bundle discount. Work out the monthly cost after the promotional period, not just the first year.

Compare speed tiers sensibly

Virgin Media lists average download speeds for each tier, such as 132Mbps for M125 and 1136Mbps for Gig1. Choose a speed based on how many people use the connection at once rather than the highest figure you can afford. If Wi-Fi coverage is a concern, the WiFi Guarantee promises at least 30Mbps in every room or a credit, but it costs extra on most tiers and is included only with Gig1, Gig2 or Volt.

Bundles and extras

TV bundles can include Netflix at no extra cost on certain packages, and Volt pairs Virgin Media broadband with an O2 mobile SIM for extra benefits. If you combine services from two providers, expect two separate contracts and two bills.

Questions about Virgin Media

Are there any Virgin Media discount codes?

We don't currently list a confirmed discount code. That doesn't mean the store has no promotions; check its website for current prices.

Can I get Virgin Media at my address?

Enter your postcode on the Virgin Media site to see which packages are available. Services depend on eligible network areas, survey, capacity and a credit check.

Is there a setup fee?

Virgin Media says no setup fee applies to its bundles, broadband and phone packages and broadband-only packages. A self-install pack can still incur a charge if you choose an engineer instead.

Who handles my order?

You complete your purchase with the retailer. For order changes, delivery questions or a refund, contact the seller shown on your order confirmation. Vouchernaut publishes shopping guides and offers; we don't process your purchase.
