Describing an app in the chat and the app it builds

AI app builder that turns a chat description into a hosted app with logins, a database and payments
whacka has a free plan. Prices in US dollars as whacka's pricing page showed them on 11 October 2026.
whacka is an AI app builder that turns a plain-English description into a hosted web app with logins, a database and payments, aimed at small business owners, teachers and club organisers who don't code. A free plan gives 24 build credits a month with no card, and paid plans start at $8 a month, or $6.67 a month for the first year when billed annually. Prices are in US dollars.
You describe the app in your own words and whacka generates the interface, data and logic with a live preview beside the chat. Changes are made by carrying on the conversation rather than in an editor.
Apps come with working logins, a database, live syncing, file uploads, push notifications and scheduled reminders. whacka says hosting and this infrastructure never use credits on any plan.
Nothing goes live until you press Publish. Every version is saved, so you can roll back to an earlier one at any time.
Apps can take one-time payments through your own PayPal account, and whacka says it takes no cut. The money goes straight to you.
On Pro and Ultra, a wizard takes an app through Google Play and App Store submission under your own developer accounts. Each build costs 50 credits, and later edits reach installed phones over the air.
Apps can send WhatsApp messages from your own WhatsApp Business number through a free YCloud account. Inbound webhooks let a website form, Zapier or incoming WhatsApp messages post into the app's data.
The @whacka_bot Telegram bot makes free attendance, sign-up, khatma and test tools for a group in seconds, with nobody signing up. It can also build a custom app from the chat using your credits.
A sentence describing your team gives the app role-based staff logins with permissions enforced on the server. Pro and Ultra apps can be made invite-only behind an access code.

Prices in US dollars; VAT not mentioned. The annual discount (two months free) applies to the first year only. Credit top-ups cost $12 for 100 or $55 for 500 and last 12 months. Prices in US dollars, from whacka's pricing page on 11 October 2026. whacka may charge VAT on top, and prices can change.
whacka is a chat-based app builder: you describe the app you want in a sentence or two and it writes, hosts and publishes it for you. It is pitched at people who run things rather than people who code, such as salon owners, shopkeepers, teachers and sports club organisers.
The maker says every app comes with working logins, a real database, file uploads, push notifications, scheduled reminders and its own web address, and installs to a phone's home screen. Changes are made by carrying on the conversation, with a live preview beside the chat. The guides on its site walk through booking systems, stock lists, invoices, expense trackers, restaurant order screens and class registers.
whacka charges in US dollars only, from free up to $96 a month, and its pricing page says nothing about VAT or pounds. Card payments go through Stripe, so a UK card will be charged the sterling equivalent on the day.
Credits pay for build rounds, and bigger changes cost more. Hosting, the database, storage, push notifications and sign-in never use credits. AI features inside a published app, such as chat or voice, are billed to the app's own users rather than to you.
It is enough to see whether whacka can build what you need, but not to run an app for long. Free apps go offline 14 days after you publish them, and only come back when the owner subscribes.
Eight credits a day suits small, steady changes. The Weekly plan at $3 is the cheapest way to finish one project in a burst, though its apps also stop after 14 days and unused weekly credits don't roll over. Starter is the lowest plan where an app stays live for as long as you pay.
Both build working apps from a chat, so the choice comes down to who will use the app and how you want to share it. whacka leans towards small businesses and community groups, with ready-made Telegram tools for attendance, sign-ups and tests, WhatsApp messages from your app and PayPal payments where whacka takes no cut.
Anything and Appy.AI target founders building products, while Durable and Framer are better known for websites than for apps with logins and data. Anyone wanting a marketing site rather than a working tool is likely to be better served by those.
whacka says each project has its own data scope, so two published apps can't read each other's data, and end users only see their own rows. It states that prompts and generated code are not used to train AI models.
Data is stored in the United States, on AWS in Oregon, with no UK or EU hosting option mentioned. A signed data processing agreement comes only with the Ultra plan, which matters if your app collects customer details under UK GDPR. The terms also make you responsible for the privacy notice your own app shows its users.
Annual billing gives two months free in the first year: Starter is $80 for the year, Pro $320 and Ultra $960. After that first year, the annual price rises to twelve times the monthly price.
Credits can also be earned rather than bought. whacka gives 10 credits when a friend you invite finishes their first build, up to 500 a month, and up to 100 credits once your published app reaches 500 visitors. Earned credits last 365 days. Top-ups cost $12 for 100 credits or $55 for 500 and last 12 months.

We don't currently list a confirmed discount code. That doesn't mean the store has no promotions; check its website for current prices.
You can cancel at any time from the Stripe billing portal in your account and keep your remaining credits until the end of the billing period. whacka says subscriptions are not refunded part way through a period.
Yes, on the Pro and Ultra plans. Each store build costs 50 credits, later edits reach installed phones over the air without another review, and you pay Google $25 once and Apple $99 a year for your own developer accounts.
Custom domains come with Pro and Ultra, and whacka lets you buy a domain inside the app with DNS and HTTPS set up for you. Starter lets you pick your own name.whacka.app subdomain.
whacka says it does not train AI models on your prompts or generated code. Prompts are sent to third-party AI providers only to carry out your request, under no-training agreements.
Data export as CSV or JSON starts on the Starter plan. Code export needs Pro or Ultra.
No. The four ready-made group tools from @whacka_bot (attendance, sign-up, khatma and test) are free and nobody in the group signs up. A custom app built from the chat uses your normal whacka credits.
