Every tariff compared →EnergyCoop's tariffs are in my energy comparison. Give me your postcode and I'll cost its cheapest for your home over the next 12 months, VAT included, against every other tariff I hold and the price cap.
Pricing a medium home: Direct Debit, gas and electricity. Ofgem's figures for homes that use less than most (1,600 kWh of electricity, 6,000 kWh of gas), about the middle and more. Your bill or your supplier's app gives a truer answer.
EnergyCoop: what to know before you buy
EnergyCoop has three main tariffs. Community Power matches your electricity with power from community-owned renewable projects and is fixed for 18 months, with exit fees. Its standard fixed tariff runs for the same term, and its flexible tariff has no exit fee.
Co-op members can enter their membership number when they switch to get a sign-up reward. Customers with a smart meter can also use Octoplus, Octopus's rewards scheme, through the app.
EnergyCoop's published tariffs are in my energy comparison, so you can see how EnergyCoop's fixed and flexible deals compare with Octopus's own and with the price cap in your region. Community Power suits you if you want your bill to back local, community-owned generation.
To switch, fill in the quote form on EnergyCoop's site with your postcode and usage.
