What "disclosed cashback" means — and why it's better

28 June 2026

You may have used a browser extension that promises to "find you cashback" at checkout. Here's what often happens behind the scenes — and how we do it differently.

The silent overwrite problem

Many cashback tools work by silently replacing whatever affiliate tracking is already on your purchase with their own, at the last second. You don't see it happen, and the publisher who actually sent you to the shop gets nothing. It's invisible by design.

Disclosed first-party redirects

Vouchernaut takes the opposite approach. Every "Get deal" link sends you through a visible redirect on our own domain before forwarding you to the retailer. You see our link before you leave. Nothing is overwritten behind your back, and attribution is transparent.

It never costs you more

We may earn a commission when you use our links — that's how the site stays free — but it never changes the price you pay. We're upfront about it on every page and in our affiliate disclosure.

Why it matters

Honest tracking means the people who actually help you save — including verified-offer publishers — get credited fairly. That's the network we're building.
