Group terms.
Version of 24 September 2026
Who we are
Vouchernaut is run by Douglas Anthony Silkstone, a sole trader registered in the Czech Republic (IČO 10911243, VAT CZ8803201550), of Nademlejnská 600/1, Hloubětín, 198 00 Prague 9, Czech Republic. Data box: uebsrdr. In these terms “Vouchernaut”, “we” and “us” mean him.
Contact us about groups, these terms or a decision we've made at [email protected].
1. Who these terms are for
These terms apply to anyone who creates a group on Vouchernaut, publishes a group page, is an owner, admin or treasurer of a group, or asks for a group's cashback to be paid out (“organiser”, “you”). They sit alongside our general terms and privacy notice. If they conflict, these terms win for anything to do with groups.
By creating a group, publishing its page or asking for a payout you confirm you have read and accept these terms, for yourself and for the group. We record when you accepted them and which version. When we change them we'll ask you to accept the new version before you publish or pay out again.
2. Who can run a group
You must be at least 18, live in the United Kingdom and use a permanent email address you control. Disposable or temporary addresses aren't accepted.
If the group says it represents an organisation (a school, club, charity, business or community body), you must be authorised by that organisation to raise money for it and to receive money on its behalf. We may ask you to prove this at any time.
A group's bank account must be a UK account held in the name of the organisation or, for informal groups, of an organiser who is personally responsible for the money. We may refuse any account.
3. What groups can raise money for
Groups can raise money for lawful, clearly described purposes that benefit the group or its community: a club's kit, a school trip, a charity's work, a community project, a family or friends' shared cause.
The page must say truthfully who is raising the money and what it's for. Money raised must go to that purpose. If the purpose changes, update the page before spending on the new one.
4. What groups must never do
You must not use a group, its page, its name or its money, directly or indirectly, to support, fund, promote or benefit any of the following:
(a) Terrorism, or any organisation proscribed under the Terrorism Act 2000, or its members, fronts or causes. This includes Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic State, al-Qaeda, the Taliban, the Wagner Group, National Action and every other organisation on the UK list, whatever name it uses.
(b) Any person, organisation, government, armed force or country subject to UK, UN, EU or US sanctions, or anyone acting for them. This includes the armed forces, security services, mobilisation and war effort of the Russian Federation and Belarus, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and any authority Russia has set up in occupied parts of Ukraine.
(c) Armed groups, militias, mercenaries or fighters of any kind, or buying weapons, ammunition, military equipment or anything meant for use in armed conflict, except through a registered charity or a government-approved programme that we have verified in advance.
(d) Violent extremism, or hatred or discrimination against people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age. That includes symbols, slogans and slurs.
(e) Political parties, candidates, elected representatives' campaigns, or election or referendum campaigning. (UK law strictly controls who may donate to these, and pooled cashback can't meet those rules.)
(f) Anything illegal, including fraud, money laundering, drugs, unlicensed gambling, sexual services or exploitation, and anything that puts children at risk.
(g) Pretending to be, or to be approved by, an organisation, charity, public body, person or cause you don't represent, including Vouchernaut.
(h) Misleading supporters about who you are, what the money is for, how much has been raised, or whether the group is a registered charity.
(i) Personal gain disguised as a cause, or pooling money for private benefit while telling supporters it's for something else.
You must not try to get around our checks, for example by misspelling names, using symbols or coded language, splitting a group into several, or changing a page after it has been checked.
5. How we check groups
We screen group names, page addresses, page wording and bank account names automatically, and editors review groups that are flagged, reported by the public, or asking for their first payout. A group may be held while we check it. While it's held its page is hidden, nobody can join through it, and nothing is paid out. Cashback its members choose to share keeps collecting in its wallet.
Before a group's first payout we review it. We may ask you for information or documents about you, the group, the organisation it represents, the bank account and how the money will be spent. You must reply within 14 days. If you don't, or we aren't satisfied, we may refuse to pay out.
Verification (the tick on a page) only means we were satisfied, at that time, that the page is run by the organisation it names. It isn't an endorsement and doesn't guarantee how money will be used.
6. What we can do
We decide what we host. We may, at any time and without notice, refuse to create a group or publish a page; edit or remove wording or images; hide, hold, suspend or remove a page; freeze a group's wallet; stop, delay or refuse any payout; remove organisers or members; and close a group.
We don't have to tell you why, and sometimes the law won't let us.
If we believe money in a group's wallet is linked to anything in section 4, or was raised by misleading supporters, we may keep it frozen for as long as we need to, return it to the members whose cashback it was, or deal with it as the police, the National Crime Agency, the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation, the Charity Commission or another authority directs.
We report suspected terrorist financing, sanctions breaches, fraud and other crimes to the relevant authorities, and share information about you and the group with them when the law requires or allows us to.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for everything on your group's page and everything done by the group's organisers. Keep your account secure, and remove organisers who shouldn't have access.
Keep records of what the group's money is spent on for at least six years, and give them to us if we ask.
You're responsible for any tax, reporting or regulatory duties that apply to the group and its money, including charity law if the group is, or raises money for, a charity.
Tell us straight away if you think the group, its page or its money is being misused, including by another organiser.
8. Reporting a group
Anyone can report a group page using “Report this page”. We review every report. Several reports about the same page hide it until we've checked it.
Don't make false or malicious reports. If you think a group is involved in terrorism, contact the police on 999 in an emergency, or report it to Counter Terrorism Policing at act.campaign.gov.uk.
9. Our liability
Groups are run by their organisers, not by Vouchernaut. We aren't responsible for what organisers say or do, or for how money paid out is used.
You agree to cover any loss, claim, fine or cost we incur because you broke these terms or the law, including reasonable legal costs.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Ending and changes
You can close a group once its wallet is empty. We can close a group or end your access to groups at any time, for any breach of these terms or where we're required to.
We may change these terms. We'll show the date of the current version at the top of this page and ask organisers to accept the new version before they publish or pay out again.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
