The range runs from everyday lingerie and nightwear to erotic lingerie, clothing, gifts, lubes and essentials, sex toys and bondage. It also has a Halloween and a Knickerbox section. The shops are still around too, so if you are unsure about a fit you can try things in person and then shop the same range online.
My honest take: the discounts are worth lining up before you buy, because the site offers several routes to a lower price.
How to pay less
- **Email sign-up:** the site offers 20 percent off a first order for joining the email list. The terms say that applies to full-price items, and discounted items get 5 percent off.
- **Discount schemes:** up to 20 percent off through UNiDAYS, StudentBeans, Youth Discount, Blue Light Card, and for graduates, teachers, carers, charity workers and healthcare workers.
- **Sale:** a big sale section runs with an up-to-70-percent-off banner, but that is the best case on selected lines, not a blanket figure.
Promo codes go in at the cart before checkout. If one fails, the usual cause is a typo, a missing prefix such as WELCOME-, or an item that is excluded.
Delivery
Standard delivery is £3.99, free over £50, and takes up to three working days if you order before 6pm. Express is £5.95 for next working day (some postcodes excluded). You can have it sent home, to a locker, a ParcelShop or a Post Office. Click & Collect is free in three to five working days, or £5.95 for next day.
Privacy
Every parcel comes in a plain padded envelope or box with no logos inside or out. For most banks the payment shows as AS Ltd, though some online banks such as Starling and Monzo can show Ann Summers instead.
Returns
You have 28 days from purchase to return items for free, if they are unworn, unwashed and have tags and hygiene and security seals intact. Refunds to your card take up to 20 working days from posting a parcel back, but often arrive sooner.
