What I'd check first

With tech, I care more about who's selling than about the size of the discount. Buying direct from the maker, whether that's Google, Nothing, Fairphone or Raspberry Pi, usually means the cleanest warranty route, the newest stock and trade-in or launch offers you won't see elsewhere. Big retailers can undercut on price, especially on older models, so it's worth checking both.

Launch weeks and the big sale events are when direct stores tend to bundle accessories or knock money off, but a bundle is only a saving if you wanted what's in it. I'd price the device on its own first.

Before you buy, check which model and region you're getting, how long the manufacturer supports it with updates, and what the returns window looks like. Opened electronics often come with conditions attached.
