What I'd check first

Maker kit is a funny corner of tech for deals, because the core boards are cheap and rarely discounted. With Raspberry Pi, the official route is to buy through its approved resellers, and prices on the boards themselves stay pretty consistent between them. Where the reseller actually matters is stock, delivery cost and whether they sell the power supply, case and cables you'll need anyway.

My advice is to price the whole project, not just the board. A starter kit can work out cheaper than buying the pieces separately, but only if you actually need every piece in it.
