Electrical World sells electrical installation products and tools, with the site stating it is returning to a focus on electrical products only. Its range includes well-known brands such as Morphy Richards, C.K Tools and Dimplex. It also offers a cable conversion calculator for comparing AWG and mm² sizes.
What the range covers
The retailer's programme description describes more than 6,000 electrical installation products and tools from established brands. For shoppers, this points to a range aimed at electrical work and related tools rather than general household goods, so it is worth checking that a product is an installation item before comparing prices.
Comparing cable sizes
If you are working out cable sizing, the site's AWG to mm² conversion guide and calculator is a useful starting point for translating between American Wire Gauge and metric cross-sectional area. Use the converted figure alongside the installation requirements that apply to your job rather than relying on the conversion alone.
Choosing tools and appliances
The brands named include Morphy Richards for home appliances, C.K Tools for hand and power tools, and Dimplex for heating products. Compare the specification, intended use and accessories of each item, since two products from the same brand can differ considerably in capacity, power rating or build.
Before you order
The retailer has noted it is winding down its pet food offering, so shoppers looking for pet products should go elsewhere. For existing orders, the customer service team handles deliveries, returns and other order enquiries, and asks for your order number and the email address used at checkout.
