Shopping with Registered Office (UK) Ltd

Choose the right package

The range is split by what you need. A Registered Office Address covers official government post only, such as letters from Companies House and HMRC, and cannot be used for general business correspondence. A Virtual Business Address handles business mail but cannot be used as a registered office. If you want one package covering official and business mail, the Virtual Business Plus option combines a registered office, director service address and virtual business address.

Understand the privacy angle

A UK limited company must have a registered office, and directors must give a correspondence address for the public register. Using a service address keeps a residential address off that record. A director service address covers all directors of the same company, so you do not pay per director.

Check the paperwork before you start

All officers, the account holder and any different payment cardholder need to verify identity with one government photo ID and one proof of address dated within the last three months. Proof of address must be in your personal name, so business-addressed bills are not accepted. You can start using the address as soon as those checks are verified.

Think about calls and meetings

If you miss calls, the telephone answering packages add a local number and messages sent by email, with bronze, silver and gold tiers. Meeting rooms can be booked separately in London, Edinburgh and Ipswich, which is useful for client meetings without a full office.
