The story
Parcel2Go was established in 2001 and is based in Bolton, Greater Manchester. It describes itself as the UK's largest parcel delivery comparison platform, built for individuals, small businesses and online sellers who want an easy way to pick a courier.
How it works
Parcel2Go is not a courier itself. You enter where the parcel is going, how big it is and how heavy, and it lists the services that can take it. You then book and pay on Parcel2Go and the courier you chose does the delivery. That makes it handy when you only post the odd parcel and don't know which service is the right fit, or when you want to see whether a drop-off at a local shop beats paying more for a collection from home.
The couriers
The site works with well-known names such as Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, UPS and InPost. Services cover same-day, next-day and slower economy options, and some couriers take a drop-off while others collect from your door. It sends to the UK, including the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, and to destinations worldwide, with help on customs paperwork for international parcels.
Tracking
Parcel2Go says tracking is included on its parcel services, whether you drop off or have the parcel collected. Optional parcel protection is also available if you want extra cover for something valuable.
Sellers
Smart Send is its tool for online sellers, linking marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon so labels can be booked in one place. The site also has a Lowest Price Guarantee, which it says matches a comparable service found elsewhere.
Saving
The quote tool shows every option side by side, so the quickest way to save is to compare drop-off against collection and economy against faster services. Any live code on this page can be entered at checkout.
