Shopping with AKKO IT

Choosing a layout

Akko offers several keyboard sizes, including full-size, tenkeyless, 75%, 65% and 60% arrangements. A tenkeyless or 75% board frees up desk space for mouse movement, while a 65% or 60% layout suits people who rarely use the function row or number pad. Check the layout name before buying, because the same model can appear in more than one configuration.

Switches and typing feel

The store lists linear, tactile and silent switches, plus magnetic Hall-effect and TMR options. Linear switches have no bump and suit gaming, while tactile switches give feedback that many typists prefer. Hot-swappable boards let you change switches later without soldering, which makes them a sensible choice if you want to experiment.

DIY kits and keycaps

If you enjoy building your own keyboard, the DIY kits come without switches or keycaps, so you will need to budget for those separately. Keycap sets use different profiles, and the brand lists profiles including OEM and Cherry. Check that a set matches your board's layout and that your chosen profile fits your typing position.

Warranty and buying from the store

Akko's own warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, and its terms state that eligible new products bought direct carry a two-year parts warranty. Purchases from other sellers or marketplaces may follow different rules, so check the seller first. Keep your order number handy when contacting support.
