Why people shop here
Speedo does one thing and the range shows it. There are everyday pool suits and trunks, bikinis and modest swimwear, rash vests, kids' ranges, and then the serious end: training jammers, open-water gear and Fastskin racing suits. Goggles have their own section, alongside caps, fins, towels and training aids. If you swim lengths regularly, this is the obvious first stop. If you only need one holiday bikini, you will find plenty elsewhere, so this is not a place you need to go for fashion swimwear.
Sizing before you buy
Swimwear is the category where getting the size wrong hurts most, so spend two minutes on the size guide. It splits fit by how you swim (recreation, training, open water, racing) and explains how to measure. Fastskin suits use an extra body loop measurement. The same page covers care: rinse after swimming, hand wash and dry flat. Dull advice, but it is the routine Speedo itself recommends.
Delivery and returns
Standard UK delivery is £5.99, free once you spend over £50, and takes 3 to 5 working days. Next-business-day delivery is £8.99 if you order before 3pm Monday to Friday, subject to postcode restrictions that show at checkout. I did not see a click and collect option on the delivery page.
Returns are generous on paper. You get 60 days to register a return, UK returns are free through the returns portal, and refunds go back to the original payment method. Speedo says it can take up to 14 days to process a parcel and 5 to 7 working days to pay out after inspection, so expect a wait. The catches are real: there are no direct exchanges (you send the order back and buy again), items need their tags and must be unused, and for hygiene reasons underwear, face masks and anything with a removed hygiene seal are not accepted back. In swimwear terms, leave the hygiene seal alone until you are sure of the fit.
How to spend less
Rather than a loyalty club, the discounts page points to student and key worker routes through UNiDAYS, Student Beans and Blue Light Card. You verify through them first and the discount applies to swimwear, goggles and performance gear. Klarna is available too, either Pay in 3 or Pay in 30 days, for adults and subject to Klarna's own approval. Last point: speedo.com is one global storefront with a country selector, so make sure you are on the UK pound version before checking out.
