Choosing the right strength
Fragrance strength is set by how much perfume concentrate sits in the alcohol base. Perfume or extrait is the most concentrated and lasts longest, eau de parfum is the most popular everyday choice, eau de toilette is lighter and suited to daytime wear, and eau de cologne is the weakest and fades quickly. Aftershave is gentler and often better for sensitive skin. Check the product type before you buy so you know what to expect.
Splash or spray
For men's aftershave, the format usually comes down to preference rather than performance. The scent is the same in both, but a spray bottle is sealed and may keep its character for longer. If you plan to keep a bottle for a long time, a spray is a sensible choice.
Delivery before a deadline
Orders placed before 1 pm on weekdays are dispatched the same day, and standard UK delivery is quoted at 2 to 5 working days. Orders under gbp 80 carry a standard charge, while larger baskets qualify for free standard delivery. Next-day delivery is available by DPD if you order before 1 pm, and Saturday delivery is also offered. Allow extra time during Black Friday, Christmas and Bank Holidays, when the site notes that delivery may be affected.
Returns and what to keep
Unused, unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 28 days of receipt, and refunds on the product cost are processed within 30 days of the return arriving. Postage is generally refunded only if an item was incorrect, faulty or damaged, so keep the box and proof of purchase. Blades, leads and chargers are treated as perishable items, so check the returns section before buying electrical grooming kit.
