Shopping with Utilita

Utilita is built around smart prepayment. You pay for energy before you use it and top up in the My Utilita app. Its tariffs without a standing charge are only for Pay As You Go customers.

If you run low, it offers emergency credit and Friendly Credit hours, so your supply isn't cut off overnight or at weekends. Its Energy Hubs let you talk to someone face to face about your account.

Utilita's prices aren't in my energy comparison, because it doesn't publish them in a form I can use. To see what it would charge for your home, get a quote on its site, then set that figure against the cheapest deals in my comparison for your region.

To switch, start a quote from Utilita's site. Existing customers with a working smart meter can refer a friend for energy credit.
